24 Secrets of Profitable Email Marketing

Where does a proper letter begin? That’s right! With a competent introduction. A lot depends on the first paragraphs and for most newsletter owners there is a serious problem – where to begin a letter?

As we know, the theatre begins with the coat rack…

For many of my clients who do their own email marketing, I provide some advice on the topic.

Ready to get the keys to the most powerful email marketing tool? I feel like you are… Great! Let’s go step by step…

The first thing you can start an email with is humor.

Jokes in a letter are always perceived favorably (unlike sales letters). Starting a letter with a short anecdote or humorous sketch relaxes the audience and  uk telegram data readers are no longer so skeptical about your offer.

For example, once I started a letter with a joke:

“A son turns to his programmer father:
– Dad, why does the sun rise in the east and set in the west every day?
– Are you sure? Have you checked for many days? Does it definitely rise in the east and set in the west? Has there ever been a glitch?
– No, Dad, it’s  marketing list always like this. I’ve been checking for months…
– Son, if it works, then don’t touch it.”

Then I started talking about how  people who come to trainings or study books on marketing start trying to optimize the instructions given to them by the teacher and therefore nothing works out for them.

In fact, the response to this letter i think that’s enough for the first time  was about a third higher than to regular letters. And besides the joke at the beginning, I didn’t add anything unusual.

As you can see, jokes don’t necessarily have to be anything special (this isn’t KVN or Comedy Club). Ordinary banal jokes without witty and sparkling humor. But it’s already relaxing.

Naturally, there is no need to turn the mailing into a Petrosyan-style mess; everything should be in moderation.

The second secret is a link to the book you read

This is a pretty simple and effective way to start any letter. It’s actually pretty simple. You write at the very beginning that you recently read such and such a book and found some pretty interesting moments in it that you’d like to talk about.
