This is the reason why in Disney movies they don’t have a mom

During 2014 the producer Don Hahn in an interview with Glamour, revealed what are the reasons for this fact.

The producer of Maleficent revealed that “One reason is that it is something practical because the movies are 80 or 90 minutes long, and the Bahamas Email List Disney films are about growth,” Hahn said.

“They are about a day in your life where you have to take responsibility. Samba ran away from home, but had to return. In short, it is much faster for characters to grow up when their parents are not around. Bambi’s mother dies, so he has to grow up, ”he explained.

The absence of a mother figure may also have been influenced by the death of Walt Disney’s own mother in a tragic accident, Hahn explained.

The filmmaker’s mother died in the early 1940 s after moving into a house that Walt bought for her and her father. Hahn believes that Walt may have been mobile lead haunted by the idea that he contributed to his mother’s death.
